Browns Ewe & Lamb Pellet has been designed to be fed prior to lambing to maximise body condition in the pregnant ewe, enrich colostrum and supply the ewe with all the essential macro minerals to ensure both ewe and lamb are in peak condition with ongoing economic benefits to the farmer.
This mix contains barley (which is shown to be the best grain to enrich colostrum quality.) It is balanced for calcium, phosphorus and magnesium which is essential in pregnant & lactating ewes. Contains buffer to assist with reducing the chance of acidosis.
Designed to be fed prior to lambing and after lambing to increase lactation, ensuring healthy well grown lambs, and ewes able to be rejoined earlier
Feeding Instructions:
Increase amount fed gradually over a 10 day period and ensure sufficient trough/trail space for all Ewes to get a feed.
Feed to suit body condition and breed of ewe (100 – 300 grams/day and always have fibre (cereal hay or pasture available) as forage to concentrate ration should be 70/30 for safety to reduce acidosis
